In Canada, operators of recreational water vessels equipped with a motor must have proof of competency to operate the vessel. The Competency of Operators Pleasure Craft Regulations mandate that operators of motorboats carry proof of competency when they are operating their watercraft or risk a penalty fine of up to $250. A Pleasure Craft Operator Card is issued to boaters who have completed a Transport Canada accredited test. This applies to anyone operating a motor boat over 4 meters long, or to anyone born after April 1, 1983. Each October rolls around and the buzz in the school yard starts coming home strong. There always seems to be an amazing amount of competition to have the most popular characters used in Halloween costumes. While many parents and adults feel that being as low budget as possible on this costume is important, for the kids it is so much more.

So very many children only wear their costume once that it becomes difficult to justify spending any significant amount of money on it. It would be far easier to do if you could find an excuse for them to be used repeatedly. So often younger children will actually get considerably more use from them since they are still apt to play dress up.

For kids this a big holiday, and the costume that they have is a big deal. They do not take the cost into account. If they are school aged already then there is competition between kids for the best costume as well, even if only on an unofficial basis. At 1504 feet, or 458.5 meters, the Knock Nevis is the largest supertanker and largest ship built yet. Just like many other supertankers that hold positions close to the leader, the Knock Nevis is no longer in service. The less expensive, more stable, shorter tankers have actually become a shipping favorite. It is not as expensive to operate the smaller vessel even though the cargo hold isn’t as large.

The biggest boats ever designed for passenger use is just now emerging. Royal Caribbean has been able to build a cruise ship that safely operates at 1180 feet, or 360 meters in length. London’s West End continues to perform well against a backdrop of economic uncertainty. Numbers indicate that ticket sales for musicals in London have risen for the seventh consecutive year, boosted by celebrity casts and top rated shows. London musicals keep attracting both viewers and awards, along with a loaded programme of events to motivate brand new theatregoers appears set to help carry on this trend.

Sales of tickets to West End productions topped 500,000,000 in ‘09, which makes it an incredible year for theatre in London. With ticket sales up more than 7 percent percent comapared to numbers for the previous year, attendance to dance, plays, opera and musicals at West End theatres was also up, by more than 5 percent %, over the same period.
