Many people want to make sure that when they make calls using their cellular phone, the person they’re calling cannot see their mobile number on their Caller ID display screen. Some want to make sure that the person they’re calling won’t be able to call them back. Others want to make sure that their phone call is a surprise – for example for a birthday or in the case of someone you haven’t spoken to in a long time. Others want to ensure that the recipient of the call doesn’t use the phone number to perform a trace and learn a great deal more about them.
While you may only want your cellphone number to be blocked temporarily, there are also options that will allow you to have the number blocked permanently as well. It all depends on your main purpose in making sure that the recipients of your calls can’t see your number.
