Once upon a time Tiger Woods was the highest paid athlete in the world. He dominated the game of golf all in his late twenties and early thirties. While golf made him some millions it was his endorsement deals that made him a money making machine. He was raking in over $100 million a year on endorsements alone. But then the family scandal came out. The public heard he’d cheated on his wife, with whom he has children, and the endorsement deals started to drop. Accenture and Gillette were among the first and now ATT, the GSM Cell Phones mainstay. Tiger will be lucky to get a deal with a random Unlocked Cell Phones company at this point.

ATT, GSM Cell Phones biggest provider, took over Buick as the emblazoned logo on Woods’ golf bag. In addition, ATT Phones also sponsors the national ATT tournament, hosted by Woods himself. In fact, he won the tournament last year. The company believes that for what they paid Tiger, a single golfer, they could probably get three to four legendary golfers. So in the end, it was an easy decision for ATT Cell Phones.
